ACHIEVEMENTS IN HORSES

Marilyn knows what it takes to win. The former stock car and snowmobile racing champion crowned her highest achievement by winning the Canadian All Around Amateur Quarter Horse Championship and attaining Top Ten in the World at the AQHA World Championship Quarter Horse Show in Oklahoma in 4 very diverse classes with one very versatile mare! Marilyn turned Pro and became a certified coach of the Canadian Equestrian Federation teaching and training. Marilyn logged some 20,000 miles with her horse to make the top ten in the world. She sang and wrote songs while "Haulin Down the Road".   Nowadays Marilyn Faye Parney performs her national anthem off horseback opening Rodeo Ceremonies across Western Canada.

I remember her coming to Regina to judge shows there, and was so very impressed not only by her judging abilities, bur also the very professional manner and appearance that she bore even when approaching a group of children. It was so good for them to see her, and she showed them such respect as individuals despite their tender years.
