Known as “Canada’s Singing Cowgirls”, Marilyn Faye Parney is an award winning International Recording Artist/Songwriter/Entertainer whose music and energy reflect her Prairie roots. Marilyn was chosen Saskatchewan "Country Music Entertainer and Songwriter of the Year" (1997), and has since toured Canadian, American, European and Australian festivals nonstop. Marilyn’s ability to cover all age demographics with her upbeat performances, and the fact that she is also the winner of multiple Equestrian awards and championships, make her a unique entry and an excellent choice to bring a little bit of the Prairies to Japan.

Expo 2005

Canada's Singing Cowgirl, Marilyn Faye Parney represented Canada in the summer of 2005 at the World Expo in Aichi Japan. As one of 21 acts chosen from across Canada, Marilyn is honored and proud to share the bill. Marilyn was there during August 30-September 5 to perform. Marilyn has toured Canadian, American, European and Australian festivals nonstop since 1987.She is currently preparing to record her third album. Nearly 15 million people from Japan and far reaches of the globe came explore and enjoy experience.
